4 ⁽ˣ⁺⁵⁾ = 16 (x-3)
Simplify.
4x + 20 = 16x - 48
Subtract 16x from both sides, as well as subtracting 20 from both sides.
4x - 16x = -48 - 20
Add like terms.
-12x = -68
Divide both sides by -12
x = 5 2/3
~Hope I helped!~
